Amla bears fruits once a year and the Soliga community has harvested them from forests for generations, picking by hand and exposing to fresh mountain air on raised surfaces.
Wild amla, growing in deep forest shade on unfertilised soil, develops higher concentrations of Vitamin C and tannins than commercially cultivated varieties; the result of slow growth and natural stress cycles the tree has adapted to over decades. Harvesting follows a rotational pattern: enough fruit is always left on the tree and forest floor to ensure natural reseeding and continued regeneration across the landscape. Sold whole.
Effective for hair care formulations, digestive supplements, immunity products, and Ayurvedic preparations. A single batch can be used across multiple applications: powder, extract, or infusion.
