FAQs

Where does Harvest Wild produce come from?

Everything we offer is sourced directly from the forests in biodiversity rich regions of India- Himalayas, Nilgiris, BR Tiger Reserve, Eastern & Western Ghats. We work hand-in-hand with tribal communities who harvest produce using techniques passed down through generations.

Is your produce organic?

Yes, our produce grows in untouched forest ecosystems without a single drop of human-made pesticide or fertilizer. We simply bring what nature has already perfected to your doorstep.

How do you ensure the tribes are treated fairly?

Following the reciprocity model, we cut out the middlemen who traditionally exploit forest dwellers. We pay our partner communities significantly above market rates and reinvest a portion of every sale into capacity building for local community.

Is harvesting from the forest sustainable?

Yes. We follow seasonality. We only harvest what the forest can spare, ensuring that the roots, bees, and trees have more than enough to regenerate. If a certain product is out of stock, it’s usually because we’ve reached our ethical limit for that season.

Why does the taste/color of my product vary?

Since our produce is 100% wild and unprocessed, nature is the only factory. Variations in rainfall, soil, and plant mean that every batch has its own unique, seasonal character. We don't standardize; we celebrate the difference.

How does my purchase make a difference?

By choosing Harvest Wild, you aren't just buying a product; you are supporting tribal sovereignty. Your purchase provides a dignified livelihood to indigenous families and helps protect the forests they call home from industrial exploitation.
